    • 8.0.Very Good

It is a boutique hotel, an old building turned into a really nice place with exposed original wall bricks and wood ceilings. The location is excellent in a newly restored arra of the city too. It was hot during our stay and the hot tub in the roof was too hot to be used. Besides, it demanded a $ 50 a person, something surprising to what already is a pricey stay. I don’t think we will ever stay there again. Too expensive for what it is offered.

      Loved the Hewing Hotel

We absolutely loved this hotel. We only stayed one night and wish our stay was longer! The hotel was comfortable, with multiple cool lounge areas to use. The rooftop bar was amazing with a cool view and offerings there. The room was beautiful. Awesome decor with exposed brick on one wall. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was large with a very nice shower. Everything I expected from the pictures of this hotel is what I experienced. Would definitely recommend this hotel. I will be back in the future!

Incredible place close to good bars and shopping.

Very nice hotel with great amenities. The Swedish sauna was wonderful and the roof top spa tube was beautiful at night. Both bars were quite nice and the food was unique and tasty. Not the best choice for business as there are so many distractions but will definitely return!

      Warehouse Charm

Very cool hotel that has thought of everything. Walking distance to anything and everything, recommend the Red Rabbit and the best waiter in Minneapolis. The hotel staff are awesome and don't forget to end you evening with a whisky on the 6th floor.

Comfortable, beautiful hotel. Located in a lively, easy-to-navigate neighbourhood. We were able to quickly walk to many of the places we planned to visit e.g. Timberwolves game at Target Center and First Avenue club (also appreciated the convenience of a Whole Foods, cute shops and many restaurants within blocks of the hotel). The room was nice and generally quiet, but sounds from the lobby/bar/restaurant would carry to our room at night. As I was traveling with friends, we didn't mind the noise too much as we took advantage of the popular bar in the lobby and the rooftop bar as well - but it was very loud especially on Saturday night. We could also hear a baby crying in the room next to us for two evenings, so over the weekend this hotel is probably better for business/friends/couples than for families with small children. Overall, as a first-time visitor to Minneapolis this hotel was wonderful place to stay.

Everything too notch…. Except no coffee in rooms

Fantastic hotel. Gorgeous interior. Great bar and restaurant. And the staff worked to find us a coffee machine for our room. The one giant downside— which I know is a atmosphere and philosophy decision on part of management is to not put coffee machines in rooms. For us personally , we cannot even get dressed and wash up Without having a first cup of coffee. So we went down in our pajamas and slippers to get coffee from the lobby. Personal drag for us tho I do understand the hotel Philosophy idea…… in concept. Anyway, great great great otherwise. Location perfect too.
