Epic location - super easy to get around and so much to see and do around Breakfast was excellent value as an add on 2 main cons: 1/ the room is small and loud - got woken up every day around 7am by the street noise and that’s with earplugs on, and we couldn’t use the aircon as it’s absurdly loud 2/ the resort tax is a extortionate. We paid over £200 for, effectively, WiFi. The other things included are a boxing gym many blocks away, 2 cans of water on arrival (<$5), city bike rentals we didn’t want or use, and local calls

The Arlo Soho is a very cute, boutique hotel in the Soho/Greenwich Village area. The rooms are very tiny and the hotel is very overpriced but probably the norm for New York City. A few small shelves are available to stack your clothes and one small rail to hang items. The bed was very squeaky and I told the desk for future reference. The best thing about the room was the “rainfall’ shower. The people at the desk were friendly and very attentive and Dave who helped people get their cabs, etc., was extremely nice and helpful. You need to tell the desk if you want your room cleaned and new towels. Otherwise, no one will set foot into your room. I loved the numerous verandas and sitting areas. The location of hotel was great for me since I walked every where.

Great stay at the Arlo
The Arlo is sophisticated looks and smells wonderful. All the staff are attentive and personable. Although rooms are small they are great to stay in. Nothing is too much trouble. The area feels safe and close to some lovely restaurants and bars without the frenetic feel of Times Square area. Would highly recommend and would definitely book again. Thank you Arlo Soho team xx

You have to stay at Arlo if you want a great vacay
Absolutely the best hotel to stay in! The staff are extremely friendly, little convenience store located inside the hotel along with other lounges and restaurants. It rained a lot during our stay in NYC and they provided sturdy, great quality umbrellas for the hotel guests to use. Truly a life saver! The cleaners also tidied and cleaned our room which was also an added bonus! The beds and pillows were amazing, I’ve never slept so well, even better than my own bed. The shower was also great along with the shampoo, conditioner, body lotion etc. that came with the room. It felt like an added treat to our stay. They also stocked our fridge daily with waters. I believe they also have bikes available to use too but we didn’t dare to use them in the city, but if you do- you should!!
