The Warehouse Hotel

A meticulously-restored heritage building in a former godown on the bank of the Singapore River in Robertson Quay. It was built in 1895 along the Singapore River as part of the Straits of Malacca trade route. At that time, the area was a hotbed of secret societies, underground activity, and liquor distilleries. Today, while much of that history has disappeared, The Warehouse Hotel has been meticulously restored as a modern 37-room boutique hotel, focusing on heritage and local culture. Open as of January 2017, it delivers thoughtful hospitality with historically-detailed rooms, classic local dishes and craft cocktails in the vibrant neighborhood of Robertson Quay.#407255

Stayed at the loft room and loved the high ceilings. Breakfast spread is really good with quality food options. High quality cocktail served at the bar. The only gripe is that the shower area isnt cleaned properly and the grime from the tiles will float up once water is sprayed onto it. Otherwise, a pleasant stay at warehouse hotel and would definitely return again! It was the first time where a staycation felt like a mini holiday.

The hotel was cosy and comfortable. However the toilet’s layout is still a little strange to me as I am used to the full separation of the showers and the WC.
