The property (especially the view!!) and staff (esp Leslie) were lovely and we highly recommend the Monte Cristo breakfast sandwich... Amazing. However the rooms could use a bit of an uplift in the mattress and linen quality. Our queen deluxe room had a queen headboard but a double mattress. It was a tight squeeze. I would also recommend coffee being available before 8:30 am or having small nespressos or coffee makers in the rooms. Generally speaking I would stay again. You cannot beat the view and original features of the house coupled with the touches of antiques throughout makes it a lovely destination. Newer/more comfortable mattress with sizes as advertised and better linens/blankets would make a big difference in room comfort and currency.

Lovely quaint property close to downtown and all amenities in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Easy walk to great shopping and restaurants. Very comfortable room with very nice ensuite. Breakfasts were good and the choices were fine for the number of days that we stayed at the property. The staff was very friendly and courteous. Customer service was very good. The only recommendation would be to put a couple of bottles of water in the room each day as the local water did not have a pleasant taste. A minor detail in the overall great experience of staying here! Would definitely choose to stay again in the future!!

The perfect location in this charming town!
I was looking for a place to stay in this cute town and I couldn't have found a nicer one! Located directly across from Queens Park ,which is on Lake Ontario, you can enjoy the views of the water from this charming front porch.Our host was wonderful she gave us a tour of the home & explained everything in depth .It is a walkable location.Right down King street a couple blocks you are at the Main area with shops, restaurants, dessert and coffee places and the nicest people! Everyone we Spoke with during our stay was more than accommodating with recommendations of places to eat ,visit ,and relax whe visiting NOTL and surrounding area.We ate dinner at The Olde Angel Inn and recommended ! The food is delicious and reasonably priced. Our room was quite comfortable and suited our one night stay well.Breakfast was delicious you get a choice of time and meal, and pick your seating when you go for breafast.Coffee and hot water was out at 8:00am which I thought was just a little late as I'm an early riser and crave my 1st cup of coffee as soon as I get up.But they were a bit shorthanded so it was understandable .Maybe a pot of coffee and hot water on a timer set earlier may be an option in the future.The shower in our room was wonderful forceful and hot ,bed comfortable and sleeping temp perfect.We were able to have a window open and enjoyed the breeze,sound of water in the distance and the peace and quiet.It was an enjoyable time and hope to come back and visit again.
