Only when we arrived we’re we informed that there was no restaurant service, no bar open and no room service available…..had we known we would have booked elsewhere. Not good enough !

Stayed here for one night while a travelling across NL. One of the main reasons I booked is because of the on-site restaurant which had good reviews. This motel is not great and I would not recommend it unless there is nowhere else to stay in town. The hallways and rooms had an overpowering smell of carpet freshener - I am not scent-sensitive at all but found it to be way too much. They need to dial it back. The room itself was clean and in good condition - although a bit dated. The carpets and floors could use a good solid cleaning. They looked clean but were sticky.

The room did not have a chair to sit and relax in. The bartender sent a dining room chair in. It was the only kind of chair she could fit through the 2 foot wide door. We stayed two nights, on the second evening around 8 pm I needed coffee and tea for the room, along with towels ( used our extra towels to soak up the water from the leaking shower). I went to the front door and there was a sign, Saturday night CLOSED. Half the light switches in the room did not work, not sure if the problem was bulb related or electrical. Very noisy as well, Friday night. Not pleased for the money spent. Won’t be back
