Exceptionally friendly, comfortable & clean!
Thank you for taking such exceptional care of my 75-year old Mum! She had the best, most comfortable sleep she's ever had away in your beautiful B&B! Thank you for so kindly carrying her heavy luggage too. She said you are the loveliest people and she can't wait to stay again! Your place is absolutely spotless and every possible detail is provided. She loved the local artist soap and the decor of her spacious queen room. She was impressed you have decaf coffee and provide such easy access to a fridge right outside her room. She loved, loved, loved her stay. Thank you for providing such an exceptional experience for her!!!

Great pillows but we left hungry
Hawley Place is a very clean and comfortable B&B. Upon arrival, the owner seemed very surprised that we were there, even though we had reservations? They claim to offer a hot breakfast from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. We were taking the ferry at 8:30 a.m. The owner did not seem eager to serve us a hot breakfast that early in the morning and offered a light breakfast of toast, cereal and fruit. We arrived to the dining table at 7:00 a.m. and left the property at 7:30 a.m. which was plenty of time to have a hot breakfast. We ended up paying for breakfast on the ferry and did not receive a discounted rate from the B&B.

We were made to feel so at home with our hosts Dwayne and Mandy. We had an incredible home made breakfast locally sourced and tasted delicious. Thank you so much for an amazing experience. Would definitely recommend this to anyone.

We loved staying in this beautiful home in the lovely town of Ladysmith. The house and gardens were immaculate, the hosts friendly and helpful, and the breakfasts were wonderful! We highly recommend this bed and breakfast.
