Big rooms, great breakfast
New owners are kind and welcoming. The rooms and bathrooms were large and clean. Breakfast was wonderful. 10 min drive to town, quiet place but not close to attractions.

With so many other options avoid this place
From the time we stepped up on the veranda that was unclean and littered with personal items, we knew we had made a mistake.
Nobody answered the door. Upon calling the owner, she insisted her son was home and would let us in. She was insistent to the point of argumentative. When she couldn't reach her son via text, she told us we would have to wait for her....and she was an hour away! So there we were in her driveway, tired from a drive and nowhere to stay. Take note, this place is NOWHERE near Niagara-on-the-Lake if you want walking distance. I informed the owner we needed to find another place, and she got extremely rude and said we would be charged for our stay. I filed a complaint with Expedia upon my return home. Maybe the rooms are nice, but I didn't get a chance to experience. The owner is extremely rude and has no understanding of the hospitality industry. I really have no idea how they got so many positive reviews...I implore you to look around...There are so many beautiful places right in the town itself. Just don't go by the price. You get what you pay for.

A Great Get-a-Way Experience
This is an awesome b and b! It is in a quiet area among vineyards. In the spring and summer it would be outstanding as it has a hot tub and great outside area to sit and relax with your bottle of wine!
The rooms and home are very inviting, comfortable and clean! They even provided robes for you after your shower. I haven't had a sleep like that in a long while.
The owners are very nice, friendly and helpful when you have questions, and Janet is a first class cook! We were impressed with the fantastic breakfast! I will go there again and recommend Carbonnel Bed and Breakfast to anyone!

Great B&B in Niagara Wine Country
Perfect stop for an overnight including wine tours and Shaw Festival. Hosts are wonderful, the home is so well kept. Breakfast was yummy. Loved having the suite with private entrance, two rooms, vaulted ceiling and wall of windows.

Comfort & Hospitality in Niagara on the Lake
Stayed at Carbonnel Bed & Breakfast on Sept 22, 2017 and were a little skeptical at first as it appears to be away from the center of action and isolated. However, we were pleasantly surprised how nice this property is and the great hospitality we received from our hosts - Janet & Guy. We booked the Alexandria suite which had a separate living room and dining niche, beautiful large bedroom with en suite washroom. The rooms are well appointed with all amenities - fridge, towels, robes, fresh water, hairdryer, etc. This room has a separate entrance which is great and is fully accessible. Nice backyard with jaccuzzi and private area for relaxing. There are 2 other rooms in this home. The breakfast was amazing and well prepared - 2 course breakfast with juice and coffee. The only challenge is the breakfast is served at 8:30am for all guests in the main dining area - not easy if you are up late the night before. Great place for couples.

Had a lovely stay at the Carbonnel B&B. The owners were very friendly and helpful with recommendations for things to do in the area. Janet prepared a fabulous breakfast for us complete with fresh blueberry lemon muffins to start. We would definitely rebook with them!
