Town House 57, Rome

Will stay next time in Rome.

Really nice stay near the Vatican, reasonably close to Metro stop and not that far from the city centre if you're comfortable doing a bit of walking. Clean, comfy rooms and friendly reception staff.

It Is a good experience for our 5 day stay at this place, which is a combination of hotel and Airbnb. It’s close to Vatican and in walking distance to other attractions. The elevator is a great help to get to the 5th floor, public kitchen is good enough for us, the supermarket next door is very convenient, and the arrangement of private transportation is very helpful. One thing is there’s no place to put our wet bath towels after shower. It will be helpful if there is a bar on the wall and one behind the door. Also, the bidet in front of the toilet makes the bathroom too crowded and people not from Italy mostly may not even use it. Overall, it’s a nice place to stay in Rome.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Town House 57. We had 2 rooms for 3 nights, my mother-in-law felt super comfortable and at home. My husband and I were really happy with the room sizes, the cleanliness and the SUPER friendly staff. Jerry and Teresa were so helpful, guided us with our travel plans and best routes to take. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking to stay at a location close to the Vatican, near the metro to get into the city in just minutes and also close to the airport shuttle express bus. Lots of restaurants on the street and shopping. They have an elevator, which we didn't have during some of our stays around Italy.

Great value, nice clean room. Great service. Location is perfect, just off the most touristy areas but still 15 min walk to Vatican. Since it was a guesthouse, Wasn’t expecting so attentive staff and a clean room and made bed every day. Every time we came or left the staff got out of their room to check if we needed anything. There are a few nice gems of local restaurants and cafes within 5-10 min walk. There’s a small quality supermarket just next door. Just be aware, this is not a hotel. Don’t understand reviewers that complain that they don’t get 5-star hotel service from a cheap guesthouse. For what it is, it’s great!
