Perfect
A perfect setting for a holiday, super clean, the most delicious breakfast and dinners! We were blown away with it. We loved that you had to take off your shoes, made it feel more relaxed and homey. The views were to die for, the animals so sweet and fluffy this time of year. They’re very accommodating and nice to English speakers. We’d come back right away if we could.

Amazing property and delicious food
Amazing space and delicious food. Would have been easier if the long driveway and walkway had been salted with so much ice, but otherwise a wonderful stay.

Hygge and comfortable stay
A lovely stay for us, unfortunately missed out on spectacular Northern lights show by one day :( Very cool, comfortable and hygge experience. Only slight gripe is there are a few hidden costs that could be included or packaged up- eg pay 250NOK each time for sauna, 150NOK for snow shoes hire etc. Considering this is Norway though, we can say that overall this was a very pleasant experience! Would recommend.

One magical night in Tromso
We flew into Tromso for just one night, to offer a chance to see the Northern Lights. Boy, what a magical stay it was! We enjoyed the rental of the private sauna, even a roll in the snow to cool off and head back in. We stayed in cabin 1 which was placed just so, the bedroom windows faced the ridge where the Northern Lights were. I don't know if they're always in the place or if we just got lucky but they were AMAZING this night. My daughter and I were squealing! Just beautiful to behold as they danced across the sky!

This is a hidden gem of Tromsø! Everything is almost perfect due to it’s picturesque location. The best place to view Aurora Borealis due to zero light pollution at this area. The host Maria & Eivind are always making sure everything is up to their guest’s request in order to make their guests’ stay comfortable. Maria is a great chef! She knows what cooking is all about. This property is for those want city escapade & the tranquility with peaceful mind & soul...not for party animal!

Stunning views
This place is amazing, as long as you are not (like me) a creature that thrives on all the corporate trappings of large chain hotels. If you want to get away from it all and experience the real beauty and tranquillity of northern Norway, then this is where you come. The views are breathtaking, it’s peaceful and well off the beaten track. Your hosts will make you feel welcome and serve you with authentic Norwegian home cooked food. Alternatively there are some self catering lodges you can stay in, but don’t expect too much from these, they’re quite basic. This is a perfect base if you like hiking and touring the surrounding mountains and Fjords, It won’t get dark in the summer and it’s a perfect place to see the northern lights in the winter. There’s no TV so bring a book, but they do have Wi-Fi so you won’t be completely cut off if don’t want to be. Personally, for me, it was a little too quiet, but then I’m a city slicker. I think either way you should come here and experience it, it’s an amazing place.
