Taking money without authorisation
Just got home and left €50 deposit which should not of been taken and have seen that it has been taken twice if my card? Now I have to get this returned when it is a security deposit and shouldn’t have been taken!?

Once, but not again!
The hotel was very conveniently situated for us not to have to drive home after our diner party at the Euromast. The people at the reception desk were very kind. Strangely on top of the room price we had to pay a deposit of € 50,00. It was not quite clear why. It was returned after leaving the hotel the next day. Parking facilities were good, but very expensive. The room needed and should really have a good make-over. It was shabby, as was the bathroom (chipped bath, very small washbasin, etc.). A good modernisation is really necessary. There are no breakfast facilities, which was unconvenient. We shall not be staying at this hotel again.

Quirky old boat
The place is quirky enough being an old Boat converted in a Pagoda. However the service is minimal and there was no access to an ironing board (although an iron was provided on demand). No hair dryer either.... a slight smell of cat spraying in the corridor mixed with Diesel fumes for the finishing touch . As for the restaurant, the seafood buffet was excellent but the staff were fairly rude rushing us up 40 min before closing time....

This hotel is a unique expereince
This is one of my favourite hotels - partly for its eccentricities and partly for its convenience. 24 hour check-in. Always has availability. Car parking right outside. Central Rotterdam location surrounded by beautiful park and the Euromast just next door.

Close to the Europa Mast
This is one of the cheapest hotels in Den Hague that allows pets, one of only a handful, unlike most European cities. The hotel is sort of novel, as it is floating. Occasionally you will catch a wake and the room will move, much like while on a ship or during an earthquake. There is an Asian grocery store, which appears to do a good amount of business during the day, as well as a Chinese restaurant in the building, which accounts for the smell of egg rolls when walking to your room. The room itself, in my case, did not smell like egg rolls, and was very much like any other hotel. The reception on the TV wasn't great, but I imagine that's normal when your hotel is out to sea. The beds were a bit harder than I'm familiar with, not uncomfortable, just hard. I slept fine for most of the night. The biggest downside to the hotel must be the thin walls. I woke up to the sounds of my hotel neighbors getting amorous. The moaning lasted a good long time, or at least what seemed like a long time for someone trying to suppress the noise and go back to sleep. Kudos to them! Bonus Perk: There is a water taxi stand at a pier near the end of the hotel. While visiting, it was nice to go through the adjacent park on a walk to the Market Hall, but after realizing the true distance, the water taxi departing from the maritime museum to the Europa Mast was a great benefit. And it is priced right at only 4.5 euro p.p.

Pretty bad
There was no wifi. When I asked to be connected the woman was so rude. She just ignored me, hid from me and tried to wait for me to go away. When I got her attention she would say one minute and walk away for ages. It was so wierd. She eventually then told me to go downstairs to the resturant where the man was equally rude and reluctantly connected me. Had to sit downstairs any time i needed wifi. There was a tampon in one of the cupboards. It was dirty and the bin in the bathroom looked like someone was sick in it. When we tried to check out the man kept asking if we stayed in just one room. It took about 20 mins to get out our deposit back. The couple in front of us had the same problem. On the plus side the room was big and had a nice view over the water.

I needed to order some food but could not do because of lack of languagae and receptionist denied for help.its not in service.we order lake view but in the end got strret view.Food downstair is not upto limits and pretty expensive. All in all we had below average experience.
