Beach after Disneyland
Staff was accommodating when we showed up early for check in after coming from Disneyland then when we were leaving waiting for shuttle to arrive after our check out time. Excellent location. Easy walking distance from Main St and all the stores and a stones throw from the beach.

Convenient Value (Worn around the edges)
Typical seaside, a little run-down around the edges hotel. Not very friendly desk clerks but that could be a cultural thing that I am not used to (cut and dried, no smiles). Parking was convenient, the elevator was nice (glass, facing the ocean) and it was super-convenient to walk to Huntington Beach. Our balcony was dirty, dirty chairs, but since it is on the main street that can't be helped; however, since they knew we were coming and they had already assigned us a room, they could have easily had housekeeping wipe down the chairs and table on the balcony.

Service without warmth or smiles!
It was very clean. A little dated but shows care I'm rooms and lobby. There was no breakfast as advertised. No use of pool as advertised and we felt abit slighted by that. We had expected a day by the pool. As a courtesy we felt that it should have been stated I'm the ad that those 2 things were not offered. Other hotels in the area had their pools open. Felt it was a cheap move from hotel manager just didn't want to go to the expense of keeping pool open.

Stained sheets and carpet. Room smelled like smoke. Make sure you wear pillows tied to your feet because the management will come and say you are being too loud while you are just walking around in your room. Also no air conditioning in hallways and elevator.

Beach vacation
The hotel is a run down. Carpet does not feel or look clean. Paying for parking is not right $10 a night is a lot. Spaces are limited and small.

First things first- roof top was closed and no breakfast. This definitely should be noted ahead of time! Air conditioner did not work, gave us a box fan. No patio chairs. Offered to switch me to a 1st floor no ocean view (which I paid for). Charged me 3 times and I have to wait 48 hours for refund. Location was central to everything but overall disappointed.
