Would NEVER stay here again. The valet parking was $50 per vehicle per night and I had 2 vehicles. There was not an option to park on your own either. The response from the valet guy was ‘it’s Austin’. I’ve been and stayed of plenty hotels in Austin and I’ve never paid $50 for valet

Unless your getting a deep discount, DON’T.
The location was great for what we were looking for. Dog friendly was a huge plus, but there’s nowhere near the property for them to do their business. The room was small for the price paid. They offered a dog bed which was nice, but the room was so small, it was merely another obstacle to get around. A couple things were so disappointing: the parking situation, the dirty sheets, no pillowcases on the extra pillows and the noise level. They charge you 43 dollars to park in a garage that you can park yourself for 10. The only alternative they offer is a self park for 30–con job. The other other was the dirty sheets. They looked perfectly clean, but the pillows smelled like a 100 year old man slept on them for a month without changing them. Neonal (sp?) is the specific name of the smell. Cutting corners to save money. Would not recommend. 200 dollars + for a matchbox. Thumbs down.

Decent but not great
It was not bad, the front desk service was great but I was a little upset that our bed sheets were stained and then some of our towels were dirty so that was not a great way to start our vacation. The valet people were not bad but they never helped take out our bags and I felt like I wasn’t being cared for like some of the other guests. I would watch other guests have their bags taken out of the car or even being placed inside the car but no one ever did that for us, we had 3 girls and one man in our group as well so not sure why they would not help the girls. However the hotel is very modern and is in a great location. Not sure if I would stay here specifically because the rooms was somewhat small compared to the price that was paid but I may if it comes down to it.

Very Good 8.0
Nice location, decent hotel.
Location is great, right in the middle of downtown. Great restaurant on site with a bunch of options nearby. Parking is extremely expensive, $43 a night through the valet at the door, and they don’t mention that anywhere prior to arriving to find out.(cheapest was $30 at a garage a block away) Used to stay in aloft hotels often, but it has been a few years. Remember them being much higher quality before Marriott bought them out. They seem to have gone downhill a bit. Plastic shower panel was cracked, fixtures seemed realllly cheap. Bed was super firm.

Everything but the food
Everything was great except for the food we received through room service. It was terrible. Soggy and dry. DEFINITELY not worth $50!!!
