Small, comfortable room at a reasonable price
A very small room, but everything was clean, the bed was comfortable, and there was a kettle for making coffee/tea. The staff was very helpful. The immediate area of the hotel was not attractive but there were many good services within a short walk.

Great affordable place to stay
The Whitechapel Hotel was in a great neighbourhood in East London with lots of great restaurants and pubs close by. The hotel was clean and the rooms were comfortable.

Great for travellers on a budget, this hotel is a tiny gem in the heart of Whitechapel. It's clean, the room size was small but if you're not spending all day in there it doesn't matter. Front desk folks were super nice and the free wi-fi makes it better. Be sure to bring an adapter for electrical goods if you're coming from outside the UK. While the general neighbourhood wasn't fantastic, as a solo female traveller, this is what I can say about it: - Day time was totally fine, easy access to the Tube and nice walk to the Tower Bridge - Night time I would recommend taking UBER or having a companion walk you home. Only because it is very quiet and the streets/alleyways tend to be dark. - There are some fun "hipster" cafes and bars, so look for those

Great place to spend a few days
I was traveling for business for a week in London and happened upon this hotel. Kind of classic small London hotel but definitely suited my needs.
