As you, I was researching places to stay in Tulum. I'm thrilled I decided to stay at Coco Village. First off, the people are SO friendly. The place is clean and safe. Now, let's talk about the actual place. I reserved a 'second floor' unit that overlooked the pool. It was huge (over 1,000 square feet) and more than I needed. The WIFI worked perfectly, the kitchen was WAY better than the one I have at home, and having two bathrooms ensured my girlfriend and I wouldn't bump into each other when getting ready. :D
Honestly, I give this hotel a "98%" with the only "2% discount" being that you may not get a parking spot right by the door as they only have about 10 spots (otherwise you park alongside the dirt road) and...yes...I mentioned a "dirt road" which you'll need to travel down for about 200 yards. Finally, there's no elevators so if you book the penthouse just know you're going to be lugging your suitcase(s) up two flights. Otherwise, this is a fantastic value and you should book it immediately!
