Unfortunately we had a bad experience on the second night. at about ten pm we started hearing thump thump thump of music from base. it was vibrating through our pillows etc. it got louder. about 11.30 we called the concierge (he was at another property). don't know if he did anything. never called back. when i went outside i could tell it was coming from a neighbours property which i told the concierge. it finally stopped at about 1 am. we were the only people at the inn. no staff.. also when i went outside the front door was unlocked, while there is a sign saying the premises are locked up in the evening. we would like a refund for one of our night's stay. rod chisholm

A lovely stay ... nicely appointed room with a fireplace. We enjoyed relaxing in the parlor and library. Breakfast (or should I say "two" breakfasts) were phenomenal. Kudo's to the chef ... tea and a small pastry served to the room first thing followed by full breakfast an hour or so later in the parlor or dining room. Nice to be away from the hustle and bustle that is Niagara Falls -- an no children running and screaming down hallways, etc. -- and discovering this area as "wine country". Definitely on our return list. Wifi is great, but know that there is no TV anywhere -- which for some will be a bonus!

Great addition to our vacation!
The Woodbourne Inn was a great stay for us! We stayed a few nights during a week-long stay in Niagara-on-the-Lake. We stayed in the romance suite which was a great experience for both of us. The room had a warm and cozy atmosphere and we enjoyed soaking in the tub after our days exploring the city and area. Breakfast was always an amazing start to our day, with the chef giving a personal touch to each dish as well as making sure to come out to chat and share just a bit of their passion for cooking. The backyard and common areas were great to bring a bottle of wine out and just take in the atmosphere and relax. Highly, highly recommend!

Inn was quiet, clean, staff extremely good, nice library. Rated medium as there was no chair in room, small bath without counter or shelf for cosmetic or shaving bag. Cheap toilet paper, no newspaper in sitting area for these reasons place is more in category $100 less per night.
