Not Four Stars - Disappointing
Was really disappointed as a whole. Really want some of my money back as I feel scammed. It wasn’t a great stay. I chose this place for the outside roof area, only to find out when I asked how to access it, that it was ‘closed for the winter’. No coffee facilities in the room (which is just bizarre and I’ve never stayed in any hotel without as a basic). They sell it downstairs between a certain times but make up the prices day to day (one day it was 4 dollars, the next day it was over 6). The girl doesn’t give any change back which is pure cheek assuming it’s a tip. When it’s ‘closed’ (a curtain) the staff help themselves but will not serve guests. Had to ask for robes in our room and the girl at reception wouldn’t bring them up, I had to get dressed again and go down to reception to wait whilst she collected them. The place was generally grotty with mould on the bathroom ceiling, rust on the shower curtain rail and the ‘luxury toiletries’ were all discoloured and watered down. No idea how it can call itself a 4 star hotel. I’ve stayed at better 2 stars. Feel like it was a rip-off for the price and the ‘luxury’ labelling is false advertising and a scam. I paid for the use of the roof area as advertised and didn’t get to see it at all. Only real positive is location but still doesn’t justify the cost.

Thanksgiving Stay
The receptionist was very friendly and helpful! She made a great impression of the hotel. We also loved the lobby and the living room feel. I will definitely stay here for all future visits!

Anniversary Weekend
After reading some of the reviews before our trip, I was getting nervous. It was either this place is fantastic or never book this hotel again. Well fortunately for us, it was truly a wonderful experience and Chris at check-in went above and beyond to make our weekend trip enjoyable.
