6/10 Good

Hotel is very dated, carpet was filthy, very poor lighting in the bathroom and towels were like sand paper! Has to be the worst piece of fish I have ever eaten in a hotel! Lake view was spectacular though and bed was rather comfy, didnt have the cooked breakfast, played it safe with cereal and toast

4/10 Fair

It’s like time travelling to the 80’s, the room was tired and old, don’t expect a good shower. We had a lake view room with an 80’s feel. The bathroom was very dated and not very clean, (other people’s hair attached to the shower curtain). The only well decorated area is the dining room, and breakfast was better than expected. The bar area had no character.

Obviously could do with an upgrade as rooms are quite dated. However nice spot with patio doors onto the lake and everything that was needed in the room inc ceiling fan which was helpful. Breakfast ok however burger at dinner was awful.

Stay here all the time close to brands hatch and other things to do in Kent. The staff are so nice and friendly. Easy to check in nothing is too much trouble. The rooms which open onto the lake are so nice. But have stayed in other rooms just a comfy. Can’t personally fault it there

Really like this hotel although it could do with a major refurb. The main thing I wish they would sort out is the stamp size tv’s. Love how dog friendly it is

The hotel is very clean and the staff polite and helpful. Generously sized rooms with good sized bathrooms. Depending on your way of looking at the hotel it is either outdated ot retro. Breakfast and the food from the restaurant was good quality.

8/10 Very good

The room was clean but a little dated (bathroom was tiles were something my nan had but it was okay) the feature wall is nice but the wood chip in the rooms give it a basic look. The building in reception and lobby is great. The bed was very comfortable but the pillow a little too soft for my liking.

8/10 Very good

The room was fairly clean, nothing special and dated, the carpet could do with a shampoo, bathroom old and tiered. The staff were friendly, the breakfast was very good and value for money, lots of dogs as dog friendly. Outside back garden was nice with the lovely lake ,plenty of outside seating.the A2 is right beside the hotel, noisy, but the double glazing is good and couldn't hear it when the window was closed.
