Very clean hotel but missing a telephone to communicate with Service desk and other rooms. Air conditioner does not work properly.

    Budget Hotel, Wouldn’t Recommend
I booked with this hotel because of the price and high customer reviews, but during our stay I was kind of puzzled about why people raved so much about it. It’s a budget hotel so you get what you pay for, not very many amenities but it covered the basics. I loved the neighborhood so would probably try to find a different hotel in the same or a similar neighborhood next time, and spend a little extra money to get a better experience. One of the biggest things that stood out was that the cleaning staff always ignored our “Do Not Disturb” sign we’d leave hanging on the front of our door which was quite annoying. We were pretty jet lagged and our sleeping schedule was really off so we’d always put it on the door, but still every morning they’d knock multiple times or open the door to see us laying in bed. It was definitely an invasion of privacy. My husband and I personally wouldn’t stay here again. Also, the staff didn’t know much English so if you or the people you’re with don’t speak French it can be difficult to communicate with the front desk staff etc. Lucky for us my husband is fluent in French so I would usually get him to do the talking.

Comfortable, convenient and friendly - Good value
Very comfortable. The rooms are small but everything we needed was there...tea, coffee, kettle, comfortable mattress, toiletries, hair dryer, well-appointed washroom, hot water..... We didn't avail ourselves of their breakfast so we can't comment. (We joined our son for breakfast at his apartment.) the location is good. The metro station was only three blocks away. The hotel is at the end of a street so we found it pretty quiet.....until the garbage trucks arrive around 8 am. We would definitely stay there again....good value.
