    Reef Resort Bahrain

    The staff were super friendly and very very helpful. A really warm reception after a long flight was exactly what made me feel i had made the right choice for our stay. Our rooms were very well appointed and the whole resort was spotless . The resort lit up at night was spectacular. Food in the restaurants that we ate in was of a high standard and breakfast superb I look forward to my next visit

    Service at breakfast was excellent. Room was nice except no privacy as room is on the walk way so we had to put all blinds down which means there is no natural light and it is very dark. Luckily this trip we didn’t spend much time in our room otherwise we would have had to move. Service at reception was slow, one person to check in three groups, took half hour. The pool side service was extremely slow, inconsistent and mistakes were made, for example 40mins for one cocktail to arrive after asking several times, only 7 light beers left until staff went to purchase more, burger says it comes with avocado and it doesn’t, sauce with one wrap and not with the other despite it being included on description. All of this when the resort is not busy. Pretty disappointing as we have stayed before and had good service. If this was our first time we would not go back.

    Staff was friendly at check in. Large group made check in time excessive. Room is nice but hot water issues, stained carpet and broken glass. Loud music with offensive language played at the pool. Restaurant buffet was prepared well but no children’s menu despite room service children’s menu. Parking is disorganized due to valets fearful. Not happy for the price paid.
