Convenient Location
Overall, this place is good. It's clean, spacious and has many amenities (nicer gym, social room, outdoor patio area, excellent rooftop) and the location is close to Coors Field and only a short walk to the nicer part of downtown. Our check in experience was less than stellar as our code to the room didn't work and with the only option being a chat, it took us 25 minutes to finally get a correct code, which was a bit frustrating to say the least. The Ops Manager for the property (Zach) happened to be on our floor during this time and was very polite in helping us and further explaining the checkout process and other benefits of Stay Alfred. The place can be noisy due to the urban design of the building (all hard surfaces) so sound is amplified tremendously. Due to being located in downtown, there are many sirens and loud traffic fairly consistently, so if you are looking for a serene environment for sleeping, this isn't the place. Our room specifically, had horrible blinds which filtered out next to no sunlight which made sleeping in very tough. Not sure why there wouldn't be curtains or shades, but there was not. Kitchen area is nice, large living room area and fair sized bedroom. The bathroom was by the front door and not near the bedroom which was an odd setup too. Other rooms were much nicer than ours, so it may be worth calling and asking exactly what room setup you have. Overall, we were pleased but not blown away.

Beware triple-digit hidden fees
The good: Excellent location within walking distance of most of the main attractions. A full apartment, stylishly decorated. Clean. The building has numerous amenities, including a full gym, though I didn't use any of them. The bad: Hotels.com doesn't disclose that Stay Alfred adds on a 'cleaning fee' of over $100. I stayed for two nights, and the taxes and fees came to 60% of the base price -- I had no idea what I was getting into when I booked. The very first check-out instruction demanded that I tidy up a bit and run the dishwasher. Wait, so I have to pay an exorbitant cleaning fee AND clean up after myself? The check-in process is a bit confusing. There's one passcode to get the key fob to open the door to the building, and another to get into the room. Why not just include a key to the room with the fob and eliminate the need for a second code? The mixed: Customer service. The first time I called for assistance, they answered quickly, were very pleasant, and resolved the issue immediately. When I called again later, the phone rang for over five minutes without them answering. I called again a few minutes later and the same thing happened. Bottom line: The apartment is very nice and the location's great. I'm not sure it's worth the money though. And know that the price you'll end up paying is far higher than the price advertised on this site.

Rooftop views are great.
Location is good, parking a little tricky, but do-able. Unit was great other than the dishwasher wasn't attached to the cabinet and had no top rack, and a very small amount of mold in one of the showers. But access to the building was easy and well documented, outdoor upstairs deck is fabulous as was the cappucino machine in the common area. We got our coffees down there each morning. I would definitely stay here again.
