Pousada Guata Porã, Foz do Iguacu

Location is amazing. 3 minute drive from the airport. You can walk to the bird sanctuary and the entrance to the park to see the falls. The grounds are really beautiful and peaceful to walk around. They have pigs, chickens, cows, goats and cats. The main building/restaurant is not really toddler friendly ( lots of stuff at toddler height that is not to be touched) and dinner was a bit late for our toddler ( melt downs at dinner) but at the same time we don’t expect every accommodation to cater to our toddler. Just an observation. It was nice to go swimming in the pool as it was very hot. The pool was a tad grimy, but that didn’t stop us. The rooms/ cabins were great! The staff is super helpful and nice and spoke English. The food in the restaurant was yummy. Excellent breakfast. If anything I feel like they had waaaay too much food and I was concerned about waist. My only real criticism is that as a place that boasts caring about the environment, all they had was bottled water. It wouldn’t be hard or expensive to get water filters. Something to consider. Overall we were very happy here. We would come again and recommend them to friends.

The Pousada was a very peaceful property and the accommodations were fantastic. We even saw wild toucans flying around their garden!

We absolutely loved the unique atmosphere of the place. The room was very spacious and the shower was excellent. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly and helpful. All the other guests we spoke to were also friendly which made for a very relaxed and pleasant experience.

Despite being only an 8 minute drive from the airport, this place felt like it was an 80 minute drive. Situated on an organic farm this place was a little slice of heaven. The staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The place is beautiful with spacious well appointed rooms. Our bed was very comfortable and we were very happy to see extra pillows and blankets in the rooms. The bedroom window had a screen so we were able to leave the window open and sleep to the sound of rain. Several of the rooms plug ins we're universal so we could plug in our phones and camera without adapters. We enjoyed the food. It was simple but satisfying with a good variety. Breakfast was free. Breakfast and dinner we're buffet style and lunch a la carte. It is not in town so it is very quiet. I would highly recommend. We spent a month touring south America and this was by far my favorite place we stayed. I've placed a more detailed review on Google.

The visit was exceptional in every way: the Pousada is a cluster of "chalets" in a lovely, natural setting outside of town. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful , the meals were delicious , and the rooms very comfortable. It is only a 10-15 minute walk to the entrances of the Falls , and the Bird Park across the road. We visited the falls on 2 different days (the second day is heavily discounted, if you keep the first day's ticket). The bird park was also lovely to visit. Back at the Pousada ,the grounds are well worth exploring. I would absolutely and without hesitation recommend this place to anyone interested in visiting the Iguazu Falls!

We walked to the pousada from the airport. The staff was very professional. The restaurant was excellent. Rooms were spacious, and beds very comfortable. Thanks for a very nice stay during our trip to Brazil.

The location is a five minute drive from the airport and a 10-15 minute walk to Iguazu Falls National Park. The property is beautiful. There's a trail you can walk the goes around the whole property where you will see a rainforest, a fruit forest, 2 ponds, etc. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The food is delicious. The service is fantastic!

Gorgeous property within walking distance of th bird park, helicopters and waterfalls! The staff went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. The breakfast was excellent as well.

Pros. This hotel was wonderful Great service the rooms were large and clean with a huge shower. The surrounding area was beautiful lots a green space, walking trails, fishing pond's were you can fish with provided tackle and the staff will clean and cook anything you catch. We choose to eat at th he restaurant at the hotel the food was very good and the cost very reasonable. The staff was always helpful and polite. Cons If your not a. Outdoors type this my not be a place for you. There are animals on the property both domesticated ie. (Cows, Chickens, Pigs and Sheep) and wild, there are some large lizards 1' to 3' long that roam most of the property they are not aggressive. The enterance is a bit hard to see no big sign out front.
