Lots of construction on this building yet. Hallways extremely hot, rooms good. Clean but had a beeping noise from a fire alarm in room..low battery? So was annoying. Staff very nice. Will be great when construction complete
If your looking for a fabulous location at a reasonable price this is the right place!! The room was neat and clean but poorly appointed. We were a family of four staying for 8 days and we got one roll of toilet paper?! So hard to cook anything in the kitchen as there weren’t many cooking utensils or dishes. The place could use a bit more furniture, art and at least one full length mirror. The bathrooms were really spacious and well designed. Parking is not included which wasn’t really clear upon booking. And yes, lots of construction, it starts at 6:30am!! The 2 elevators that were set for our floors (17-30) did not always work which made for long waits.
Checking a little awkward due to construction but location great and excellent room. Only problem our card key did not work, had to get a manual key.
Even though the tower was under construction there was little noise or interruption to our stay. They upgraded us at the front desk which was a nice treat. The apartment was brand new with nice new appliances which would be useful for a longer stay. The pool and gym were tiny but not crowded so it worked well. Great location right downtown. Good value for the product!
Stay was great. Although under construction, the hotel staff did everything they could to keep the comfort and safety of guests at a high level.
brand new development still under construction so low rates no real complaints about the work relatively low noise/disturbance all equipment brand new few teething problems but no real issues great location parking is expensive nearby but there are options if you look online good place to rest your head
Disappointing stay, expecting much more luxury for the price. View was limited and windows were super dirty so couldn’t see much anyway. Not enough chairs for the guest and only a two seater couch for four people. Not enough glasses and no champagne flutes at all. There is no concierge or number for reception to get assistance. The building itself is hot and stuffy and the parking is terrible. Check in took an hour - which was really frustrating. Beds were comfy was supposed to be a king and a queen but the second bed was only a double. No spare toilet paper rolls, no tissues or tea and coffee, and no water jugs. Poor communication and no signs anywhere. Pool looks nothing like the advertised pictures - overall a big let down and wouldn’t stay again. Super expensive for a poorly equipped “self-contained” unit.
Used the Arise Brisbane Skytower Apartments as a base while attending meetings in Brisbane Central station is an easy walk away. The Queen Street Mall also in easy walking distance. Restaurants and cafes all around. Two bedroom self contained apartment very well appointed, good wifi.
We chose to stay at Arise based on our previous experience. Had this been our first stay then there would have been no second time. Apartment was at best compact and lacking in basic amenities - 1 wine glass, no plug for kitchen sink, one tiny saucepan and a fry pan. Don't plan on self-catering in 2914! We did request items from staff on our first night but had to ask again on second night. There was no internet for 4 of the 5 days we spent there despite daily requests to have it resolved. Reception staff were very average. One of the security staff, Sheraz, was helpful in trying to sort the internet but it was beyond him. Nice views and good location.
Booked for two nights. View was amazing. Issues: 1) Shower was leaking, 2) internet was not working, both were fixed the following day. 3) Drains did not drain water properly, so after showering the water would seep out to the living area, had to spend time wiping, and without a mop it took much longer. 4) TV was missing a remote according to the tech. 5) One of the two dining chairs had a broken leg and was loosely fit back in. 6) we found an old loaf of bread in a cupboard 7) coffee, tea, sugar not refilled 8) jar holding coffee/tea broken but instead of clearing it away, it was just turned so that the intact end faced outwards 9) Toilet paper not restocked, only had half a roll 10) dishwasher stank All these issues during covid times meant the cleaner did not do their job properly. The front desk manager replied to my email providing the excuse that these were missed. Not coming back again.
