Not a bad place to stay for the price
The Monte Carlo Inn in Kissimmee, FL is a no-nonsense place to stay with very nice clerks and staff. There was a strong smell of cleanser when we first walked in that bothered my husband’s sinuses for which he needed Kleenex but there wasn’t any. Regardless of the cleanser smell I used disinfectant wipes and pretty much everything was clean except the A/C control and floor. The shower drain was at the higher end of the shower so you end up standing in ankle-deep water but it was clean. Just make sure the shower curtain stays on the low wall between the shower and floor so it’s not in the standing water. Bring your own soap or body wash. The body wash in the shower did not smell very nice. The hand soap on the wall dispenser (nice touch) next to the sink was much nicer. We booked the room with the King bed. The size was perfect and the bedding was clean but the mattress was a bit hard. The fitted sheet wasn’t on very well but we had lots of pillows to get as comfortable as possible. The fridge and microwave worked just fine. The pool was right outside the door but there were no swimmers so it was nice and quiet. There’s a huge gap under the door so you need to put something there so critters don’t crawl in. Fortunately, we did not see any critters at all. There are many great restaurants nearby to choose from. Overall for the price, it was a sufficient place to rest our heads.

Would come back here year over year for the value.
Hotel checkin went smooth was told to come exactly at 4 or 10 minutes after for checkin. Room was spacious and ac cold. Shower was small but worked fine. Little bit of mold spots on roof above shower. Right on beach which was fantastic. Good little balcony to dry towels. Minimal accommodations. Had full size fridge. Small single cup coffee pot. Tv and Wi-Fi worked fine. Had a small pool and jacuzzi if you didn’t want to go to the glorious beach outside. Quieter part of town. A little always from all the huddle and bussel but that’s what we wanted and we had our own car. Extremely satisfied for the price. If you want an emmaculate place don’t be cheap and pay the resorts.

Very clean!
This hotel is very clean and even late at night we were able to get in and were greeted by a very friendly lady at the desk. The bed was very comfortable and there was a nice sized fridge as well.
