Lovely room. Daughter thought it was great and she can't wait to stay again.
The room was very very small with toilet/shower like a flight toilet. It was a portacabin converted into rooms. very small for 4 person (a family of 2 adult and 2 children) to fit in comfortably. possibly it was meant only for 1 night sleeping for Gulliver's kingdom visit? I would recommend that all hotels/B&B should put their photos (which can appear very deceptively large) with accurate measurement and floor plans for customers to understand what they are booking. Looking back I should have booked a B&B nearby.
Room was nice but small we had a travel cot in there and it was a tight fit, probably better for older kids.
Would definitely recommend staying here. We went with 3 grandchildren of varying ages & they all loved it. That's not easy these days. Went round Matlock itself & up the Heights of Abraham. Quite an exhilarating experience for all
It as a fantastic hotel for a great price
The accommodation was very good, clean, well presented, plenty of towels and all the basic things you need for a family of 5. Our night was very good. Our only comment is that as it is now "out of season" the park and attractions were not open and this was not stated when we booked. In our particular circumstances this did not matter too much as we were in the area for other things.
Absolutely overpriced hotel!
Lovely place to stay with kids , it was nice and clean and easy access to lots of places .kids loved it
The pirate cabin looks fantastic just really let down by the cleanliness. Stains on bedding and pillows, dirty carpet and foisty smelling room. Really needs a good deep clean then would be perfect. Must add on a more positive note that all staff were lovely.
