I suggest ear plugs
Bring ear plugs. Between the thin walls, the cleaning crew as well as the lack of a quiet time rule made sleep impossible. Mind you my room was parallel to the train line and the was most quiet part of the trip. Seriously the clean crew was so disrespectful, talking loudly and blaring music during the turn over process.

Away from the UK ,staying in Chicago.
The Hotel was close to where we needed to be. It was easy to book in , especially as our journey to Chicago had been delayed, we were later than expected . The room was obviously part of a historical building and had been interestingly furnished, not getting rid of the historical features. It was quiet enough whilst we were there, even though the train track ran alongside. Plenty of different food type places to eat at and all within walking distance. This are was more pleasant than the affluent areas in this city. In general a good few days stay.
