Stay Alfred at Varsity on K, Washington

Really great option if you want to feel a little more like you're at home. I was feeling burned out from back to back business trips, so for this latest trip I wanted somewhere with a kitchen (eating out every meal for two weeks straight was taking its toll!) and I got more than I could ask for: full kitchen, nice bathroom, comfy bed, walk in closet, fast wifi. Short walk from Foggy Bottom metro station, Whole Foods, and plenty of places to eat and shop. Highly reccomend.

I was looking for a travel apartment with a full kitchen for an extended work trip and this place delivered. Large clean suite, comfy bed, easy check in: no complaints. Will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Unfortunately I lost my fob to the building while I was there. If I had realized that I could just put in the stay Alfred code anytime at the entrance I would have never even taken the fob out of the building. Otherwise a great place to stay in a perfect location for me

This place was very comfortable! Super comfy, conveniently located, easy to find.

Great location and nice facilities. All in all a good stay and a great value. No front desk, but everything is in walking distance so it is a great alternative to a traditional hotel.

Furniture wasn't comfortable. It was clean. Parking is costly.

Awesome location. The apartment was clean and functional. The only complaints we had is that the additional blankets needed to be washed and the sofa bed was very firm and we could feel the section seams.

The apartment was nice and in a good location. However, it had not been cleaned when I arrived. The apartment looked like someone was still staying there. Everything was dirty and unkept: the kitchen, the bathroom, the bedroom. It was clear that housekeeping hadn’t been there to clean and prep the room. Also, my key fob didn’t work at the front door so that I could get in. Luckily, there was a Stay Alfred number in the directory that allowed me to get in.

No hangers in hotel, reached out for customer service support and never received follow up. Also, had issues with washer. I will say it was probably this unit 306 because I always have a great experience at this location.

This is an Airbnb type operation. But when I arrived, I could not enter the building because the instructions for the entry system did not work. So I had to sneak in when someone else opened the door. Then when I entered the apartment, there was a bag of garbage from someone's breakfast on the table. The thermostat was at 79 degrees, but despite many attempts to lower it, it stayed at 79. So I called customer service, which kept me on hold for 15 minutes, then gave instructions that did not work, so I baked at 79 degrees for two days. The apartment was spacious but had a lot of fine hair in places like the bathroom, perhaps from a pet. There was no desk to work at, and the only table was a small, wobbly high-top, far away from any power outlet. I paid more than $300 per night, but did not get my money's worth.
