Perfect fit
Great location. Staff were very nice. Very quaint place. I was amazed at how many extras the room had.

Stay in rome
the location was centrally located to Pantheon and within walking distance of the Forum. The service was excellent. Staff were frendly and courteous. When we had trouble with toilet in the first room, they quickly changed us to another room. We also got complimentary wine. The rooms are a bit small and cluttered. The room was advertised as including breakfast but it is only a continental one with fruit and pastries that you pick up in the lobby and bring to your room. In our other hotels in Italy, breakfast meant a buffet in a breakfast room. We had trouble with the Wifi but it eventually worked.

Mixed feelings
2 flights of stairs to the lobby, another flight to the room. Ask the hotel clerk to carry your bags up, because we didn't and it was very difficult. Rooms are crowded with a lot of junk- nowhere to put your suitcases. That said, the staff is very helpful (restaurant recommendations, directions to sights, etc.) and are eager to help you. Great location.

Quirky hotel with the best service.
My favorite things about the hotel: the check-in process and the concierge was amazing. I did not get his name but he was super enthusiastic and helpful. He gave a very thorough and entertaining overview of the room and gave us very helpful handouts on places to visit by neighborhood and lists of local restaurants that they recommend (I found to be much better than google's recommendations). I also loved the room view of the Largo di Argentina site. Highly recommend the city view room! Airconditioning and insulated windows were great. Was very quiet despite being on a busy street. I also really enjoyed the welcome sparkling wine and the in-room minibar that was free and full of goodies (prosecco, beer, tomatoes, ham, etc) As other reviews have mentioned, this is indeed a quirky hotel: the lobby is packed with stuff, some may consider clutter, but it did not bother me. The rooms were small, and I think they went overboard with the extras - the room has a massage chair, hotdog heating machine, foot spa, foot massager, etc. Interesting, but not neccessary in the room considering the small size. I think it may work better to remove these things and mention that they can be brought into the room upon request.

Great location near Pantheon
Good: Great location near Pantheon! Good service, helpful & friendly service people. Decor was 'fancy' in a fun sort of way Lots of unexpected amenities, such as free food & drinks in the room & a bottle of wine at check-in Bad: rooms are very small-which is understandable, but the space within the rooms isn't well utilized--objects such as the armoire, which should be set back into the wall or removed. Rather than having a fridge in each room, the hotel could provide a common fridge for all guests somewhere to save space in rooms. The desk isn't neede & takes up space. You hit things when walking in the room because it's cramped. Decor is fun, but All of the fake flowers should be thrown out. The walls are thin: you can hear other guests in next room.

Stay at the heart of Roma
Great place to stay and Umberto, the staff personnel was excellent. He is the epitome of customer service. Hotel Berrett was a great choice as it is close to Metro / Trams and walk-able distance to Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain etc. Bunch of good breakfast places and very safe.

Crammed with Decorations
Friendly staff. Decorations are over the top. Lobby is cram packed with stuff. Room was small and made smaller by all the decorations. Don't understand the high ratings. Would not recommend.
