Lovely quiet Hotel, off the beaten track
Lovely hotel, classically updated very clean with comfortable modern facilities. There are no shops or cafes or restaurants within walking distance. So we emailed in advance to ask about somewhere nearby to eat, as it said on the Expedia description that the restaurant is closed on Sundays & Mondays, but we didn't get a reply. It would have been helpful if they could have emailed us once we'd booked to let us know the restaurant would be open. So we were very happy to be informed that the restaurant was indeed open! We enjoyed a lovely dinner with great service. It was 19.50 Euros each for 3 course dinner from the set menu. However were very surprised to be charged 3 Euros per person (incl children) to be able to use the pool as this was not stated in the description of the hotel, and very odd to have a hotel with a pool and have to pay extra to use it! Breakfast for 12 Euros each was a limited selection of food, so it may be better value to buy from the local bakers instead.Was great as a stop over after a long drive through France.

Hôtel avec beaucoup de charme et avec un personnel accueillant La chambre est vaste avec une belle salle de bain Pour le repas, nous avons dégusté des plats tout en arômes et d’excellente qualité Le dîner fût vraiment un moment très agréable La seule chose surprenante, c’est que derrière le château il y a une maison de retraite et quand on arrive il peut y avoir confusion
