Good reasonable hotel.
It’s a good hotel. Infact very good for the price. Renovated , but the bathrooms still need improvement. Not the best wifi , but workable. Excellent service and staff. I would recommend to book in the Rajah boutique instead of Rajah , it’s the same hotel and reception, just a different new building, just for $5 per room more. Good value for money. Excellent area for night life.

My Stay
The bed was too hard, and hotel rooms needs to be remodeled. There were times we sided to stay in the room for a while but the cable TV options was not great. Adding breakfast to the room as a package was a good idea because it saved money. The location was great becuase seblveral things was within walking distance. Staff was very nice a helpful.

Poor 2.0
no tv
the worst complaint was no english speaking tv channels. they only had 8 Thai channels. I like news, sports, and entertainment in a language I can understand. Would never stay there again. Also, the room was in really bad shape, especially the bathroom. really loud construction noise as well.

My partner travelled some 400 miles for buisness reasons to stay 1 night before returning 400 miles the next evening by bus . l telephoned reception from the UK asking if they could kindly see that everything was ok for her later l asked if she could change rooms to have a room with a TV , the next room had a bed which was not level & water would not drain from the bath previously it was ok when l stayed with friendly reception staff & good access to BTS .. it maybe best to ask if building work has completed before booking

Big room but old furniture, curtains block out most of the light so you can sleep after dawn, nice people, good breakfast, great location for nightlife. However, wi-fi sucks so you you need a cellular data plan to connect to many sites; water temperature is barely tepid so the tub is useless because the water is not hot enough to take a bath and there is very little water pressure so taking a shower is difficult and uncomfortable; no non-Thai language TV channels. However, if you can get a room for under $30/night, then it could be a good value for the money.
