Loved it & will be back!!
We loved this hotel and loved Isla Holbox! Only booked one night here last minute for our honeymoon and we wish we had more time here. The staff were all lovely, hotel room was gorgeous, clean, bed very comfortable and breakfast was tasty too and the roof bar was great. The hotel is so cool, very boho like most of Holbox, loads of places to chill out, nice greenery and great loungers on the beach - the beach is out of this world! The sand is like powder its so fine and the sea so clear and nicely warm. 100% returning for a longer stay & bringing more family with us as its too good a place not to share!

Lovely hotel
Beautiful hotel, great setting. Staff were friendly and professional. Didn’t try the sushi but it looked delicious. Breakfast could be better but still decent fruit and egg options. As a Brit, I wasn’t impressed they didn’t have any black tea available.

10/10 -- Would highly recommend!
Staff are extremely friendly and welcoming, food is very good with lots of options, WiFi works better than we had expected given that on many other places on the island it doesn't work. The water did not work at some points of the day but I think this is common across the island. If you are planning a trip to Holbox I could not recommend this hotel more highly!

The property was beautiful. Quiet and relaxing. We felt safe on the property and the surrounding beach. The pools are small but never felt crowded. There were always loungers and hammocks available. The food was all amazing especially breakfast! Hands down best Margaritas we had anywhere we went while in Mexico. Rooms and amenities were clean but not fancy or high tech. No complaints about that, just feedback if you're looking for that type of property. There were some really great staff who were friendly and helpful like the guys at the bar upstairs and the ladies doing massage. Unfortunately there were also a handful that seemed bothered and annoyed with guests. The day we checked out we had to leave at 7:00am which is the same time breakfast starts. We knew we had a full day of travel and needed to eat something. We went to the dining area at 6:52am and asked if we could just grab a very quick plate and explained that we needed to check out to make our flight. Everything on the buffet was set up and ready and we were not asking for service from anyone. The staff who also appeared to be the manager was rude and stated that we could not make a plate from the buffet. We stood at the entrance until the clock officially said 7:00 in order to get food and asked our driver to wait 5 minutes. There was absolutely zero effort to provide customer service which left a very bad impression upon leaving.

We arrived on our honeymoon, and we were really disappointed, the attitude at the reception was insulting, there was no hot water in the room when we wanted to take a shower and we had to wait a few hours until it was fixed, the current was very weak, a lot of dirt came out of the water in the faucet. When we asked to be moved to another proper room, we were not treated. Everything is old and unpleasant. Even when we contacted Expedia to cancel and move to another hotel, they did not agree to commit to returning part of the money
