Very, very nice stay with two dogs
I spent two nights at the west country hotel together with two dogs. It was absolutely no problem to bring pets, nor was there any fee or money on hold or so for bringing them. Everybody of the staff loves dogs and they got lots of cuddles. The room was huge with two huge and very comfortable beds and would have easily accommodated 4 people. It had a balcony and an a/c too. The spacious bathroom was equipped with a heating lamp, a fan and a normal fluorescent light. I really liked that heating lamp after the shower! The hotel is 500 m from downtown Langley and in each direction are tons of restaurants within a short walk's distance. The surrounding was pretty quiet, which was a bit unexpected as there were some voices in the earlier evening. There is also a pub and a restaurant in the same building. A big dog off-leash playground is just a few hundred meters away from the hotel and also lots of quiet roads with trees and grass to walk the dogs. The parking lot is under video surveillance which let me have a good quiet sleep as there are quite a lot of homeless people and drug addicts around. All in all it was a very, very pleasant stay and I will definitely go back there when traveling with or without dogs to the Lower Mainland again.

disgusting
The Hotel is disgusting and smells of smoke and beer. I used to years ago drink in this hotel when I was a commercial fisherman. This is not a safe place to take my wife

Old, no mold, hidden gold.
I liked the overall hotel, the staff were very friendly and outgoing. The food was very good the prices very good. Beef Dip on Thursday was 4.00, Two piece fish and chips, was 8.95. on Saturday. The bar was huge, reminiscent of the era it was built (late 70's) and all wood you couldn't even buy nowadays. The down side , it is old, the beds were hard and uncomfortable. The showers were old but the' re was always hot water. It is showing it's age and needs a face lift. The parking lot was showing signs of age with cracks and a few potholes. We stayed three days and I would go again if they addressed the bed situation.
