It was a pretty good stay. It was nice that it had free breakfast for its pricing considering other places were charging more without breakfast. The location was what made me stay at this hotel in addition to its pricing. It was just a couple of minutes walking from 2 main rail stations, which I felt was super convenient. There was initially trouble with my initial check-in but the Hotel receptionist was able to fix the error and helped finish checking in. Check out was pretty much hassle free. If not looking for a lot of bells and whistles, and just looking for a place to say, you can't go wrong. Especially if you're looking for a location that's near a rail station while being close to the Haneda Airport.

Stayed for a long layover
We had an 18 hr. layover in Tokyo and decided to get out of the airport. The hotel we found was the Toyoko Inn. We had not been in Japan before. The Inn provided night gowns and toiletries which were really nice since we were just overnighting from the airport and didn't have our checked luggage. We took a taxi there from the airport and that was SUPER expensive! It would have been much better to take public transportation. The hotel room was basic but clean. Good water pressure and heat in the shower. Were able to eat sushi (a bucket list item) a block away. I believe the monorail was too. Overall, a good stay

Multiple stays due to work. Check in was using machines and smooth with help from staff. Check out was using machine and easy. Breakfast could be a little messy especially the drinks corner (often spilt liquid and wet). Spread was alright for this price. The light bulb in room was spoilt. Good that room has USB point and hotel offers free loan of phone charger (I forgot to bring and did not know so went to buy :( wasted some JPY) Called front desk and asked if there was weighing machine and received positive response before going downstairs, but waited for 8 minutes for staff (always busy at night for check-ins), and was quite rudely told there isn't one (was cold and had slippers on, so was quite upset about this episode). Given ANA's strict limit on weight of luggage, suggest a weighing machine at level 1 for easy access. Liked the free shuttle to Shinagawa station, drivers are always friendly. But otherwise there are 2 convenient train lines (Monorail and Rinkai) that can go to Haneda airport or Shibuya in 15 mins. There are at least 5 convenient stores within 2 minutes walk and a Starbucks and St Marc cafe nearby and quite a few restaurants. Nice quiet place away from all the hustle and crowd.
