The resort is overrated.
I was very disappointed with the resort. For the amount I paid for an adult only package i definitely did not get that experience.
The pros: security did their job very well which validated that we were safe at the resort. The checking in process was quick even though I did not get a warm welcome ( smile /converse) from front desk but he completed the process swiftly. We were than put on a golf cart to bring us to our rooms. Our room was nice clean but upon arrival there was someone in there putting last minute drinks in our fridge. With the “adult only” booking we got our own small pool away from the general area and we were minutes from the beach.
The cons: The food was not that great and very repetitive. The buffet closed very early so no supper options. Was force to choose from Italian, Mexican or Dominican options. The bar selection was very bad drinks were cheap selections and the juices were watered down/ beer gets flat very quickly not cold. I was willing to pay to get some premium drinks which they did not offer. Entertainment was just not doing it for me. Some nights 3 individuals did games a show and others nights nothing ( even though the schedule stated there was supposed to be a show ) This is the first resort I had to pay for drinks at the club and dessert at the coffee shop that are part of the resort. Room service was difficult due to language barrier hard to understand one another. Order never came right. Overall don’t fall for the hype.
