Nice hotel in a nice area.10/15 min walk into town. For £195 a night breakfast should be included. It was offered for £19 extra,I decided to give that to a small business instead.

6/10 Good

Return stay at the Titanic
Compared with previous stays we were disappointed with a decline in standards. We were bringing more friends to stay fir the first time at the hotel and had told them how special it was. From our initial experience of the bell boy allowing us to collect and stack our own case trolley and to then to standby and watch us struggle to manoeuvre it to the reception desk didn’t bode well. The rooms were good but this time we were struck by how little light there was. We appreciate that this gives an atmospheric feel but hard when you’d looking at a map trying to plan a route. We love the Drawing Office bar but were disappointed by it this time. We waited over five minutes to be approached be seated and even then we had to get the attention of a waiter and ask for a table to be cleared. All available tables were full of used glasses and crockery and there wasn’t a smile from a single member of staff. Finally the serving of the drinks was slap dash and unprofessional. Eating at the Wolff grill again was disappointing. It was empty and no atmosphere. We were only offered the a la carte menus and yet after asking it was apparent that there was a better value 3 course menu. The table service was not as professional as we expected. Leaning across diners to serve and cumbersome clearing of the crockery. A lack of training and supervision seemed apparent. The food however was excellent. A disappointing decline in standards in what still remains a very special place to stay.

8/10 Very good

Good, but a few niggles
For the most part this is a good hotel. Large rooms, great conversion of the old building, very good staff, good food. But there are a few things that stop it being very good - lighting is not great in the rooms (the lights look great - there's just not enough light), no safe in the room, instant coffee and kettle (would have hoped for a proper coffee maker such as a Nespresso for the prices charged), cracked toilet seat, a lot of street noise if you face the road (original windows - no double glazing and the strip the hotel is on seems to be drag-racing central for Belfast guys to put their cars through their paces).
