Good Place to unplug and rest
The hotel is right of the freeway between Rosarita and Ensenada town 20 mins each way taxi costs to town $35.00-$40.00 . Hotel restaurant is very good ,staff is excellent. If you want to hide away their is NO TV , Fridge , heater, A/C etc. clean rooms you can walk to the beach, I saw dolphins ,food from restaurant wohh they hook you up. So depends on what you are looking for . Staff from security ,to cleaners ,front desk and yes even Hotel recommended taxi five stars . Also don't bother changing to local peso everything is $$. Not so cheap either expect US rates on food and drinks and taxis u r in the middle of nowhere. Everywhere you go lunch / Dinner /Breakfast $20.00 per instance .Idea of local ,cheaper ,mexico ,not happening. and payonline cheaper hotel charges 6%

Room was nice size with nice view but felt dirty and smelled alot like mildrew. There were screens missing on some window and there was no t.v. or a/c so leaving windows open didn't feel the safest. It was disappointing to get a call from them the next day letting us know that Expedia had charged us $80 more for the room and we couldn't get the difference refunded back, disappointing. Staff was super friendly and the food was great.

Baja Family Trip
Used to camp at K58 before we had our son. So decided we’d get a hotel for our first time back to La Fonda, now that he’s 2. Was a bit nervous after reading some of the reviews on trip advisor, but was really glad to find I was worried about nothing. The check in was really easy. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had an amazing view! It was nice to be able to walk down to the hotel’s restaurant/bar for lunch or dinner and not have to make the drive out to town. Overall great experience for our first family trip to Baja. Thank you to all the staff that made our stay as pleasant as can be
