Came as advertised
This hotel came as advertised. Great for a solo trip; two would be a tight squeeze but manageable for a few days if you don't plan to be in the room that often. The rooms are tiny as expected but well laid out, clean and the bed was comfortable. The thermostat system was a bit tricky. The location is the best feature, right next to the Metro and within decent walking distance of many of the sights. The service was friendly and prompt, and the fact the hotel also had a diner and whiskey bar was also a nice feature.

Excellent stay at Pod Hotel DC
Very friendly hotel. The rooms are small but so well planned. I worried about the street noise, but things quieted down early each night and I slept very well. Crimson diner was very good for breakfast. I had the oyster po' boy and a salad one night for dinner as well. I'd stay here again and heartily recommend it to others. It feels like a European hotel.

Small Rooms - Big Service
POD is ok but don't stay there if you want to sleep. The rooms are tiny and so noisy that they need a white noise machine and ear plugs in each room just to keep patrons from jumping out the window. It's loud out there - cars screeching, people screaming, etc. Admittedly - the White noise machine WORKS WELL and I used it ever night. I could still hear the occasional doors slamming in the hallway. Rooms are postage stamps. But the beds are comfortable and the big screen TV is nice. Also, I never heard my neighbours at all (unless they were coming in or out)... Service is AMAZING. One of the best I can remember in a hotel. And this is their saving grace. Nice breakfast place in the lobby and SUPER cool Whisky bar in the basement. Fantastic area - walk to everything including the convention center. No shortage of weirdos around.

Washington Sight Seeing Trip
Great location one block from Capital One Arena and a short walk to Fords Theater and the Welcome Centre. Many restaurants in the immediate area and overall very convenient location. Awesome Whiskey Bar and Roof top terrace. They do a great breakfast at a reasonable price. The rooms are somewhat small but super clean and very modern, quiet and I slept like a rock. Staff are super helpful.

Amazing!!!
It was an amazing stay same as the last time we had our vacay in NYC, where we also stayed at POD hotel. The room was small, but it was so clean and modern. The location is perfect which is located in Chinatown. Kinda noisy at night, but overall it was a great stay.
