POD DC, Washington

Very friendly hotel. The rooms are small but so well planned. I worried about the street noise, but things quieted down early each night and I slept very well. Crimson diner was very good for breakfast. I had the oyster po' boy and a salad one night for dinner as well. I'd stay here again and heartily recommend it to others. It feels like a European hotel.

POD is ok but don't stay there if you want to sleep. The rooms are tiny and so noisy that they need a white noise machine and ear plugs in each room just to keep patrons from jumping out the window. It's loud out there - cars screeching, people screaming, etc. Admittedly - the White noise machine WORKS WELL and I used it ever night. I could still hear the occasional doors slamming in the hallway. Rooms are postage stamps. But the beds are comfortable and the big screen TV is nice. Also, I never heard my neighbours at all (unless they were coming in or out)... Service is AMAZING. One of the best I can remember in a hotel. And this is their saving grace. Nice breakfast place in the lobby and SUPER cool Whisky bar in the basement. Fantastic area - walk to everything including the convention center. No shortage of weirdos around.

Great location one block from Capital One Arena and a short walk to Fords Theater and the Welcome Centre. Many restaurants in the immediate area and overall very convenient location. Awesome Whiskey Bar and Roof top terrace. They do a great breakfast at a reasonable price. The rooms are somewhat small but super clean and very modern, quiet and I slept like a rock. Staff are super helpful.

A road trip that took us from Canada to Buffalo to Washington to Pittsburg to home. Washington was great and spring had just sprung.

The hotel is a hip place, in a great location
