Loved it!
This was my 2nd stay at Motto in DC. Love the location and convenience to the subway station. Especially traveling to the city by Amtrak and getting to/from Union Station. So many great restaurants nearby. Only downside of this hotel is no mini fridge.

Miniscule mouse hole: 10 x 12 foot prison cell
This is the old Pod Hotel bought by Hilton. They should be ashamed to offer such tiny rooms. You have to request room cleaning. No space to turn around. LIke being in a space capsule. Mediocre breakfast for $ downstairs. Nice desk clerks don't make up for miserable experience in a funky block filled with homeless people. I've seen tiny hotel rooms before but this one takes the cake. Stay away if possible.

A must stay.
The entire experience was great from entering to leaving. The front desk were very kind and helpful. The lobby, elevator, and room was very clean. This was my first stay at a microtel and I enjoyed it.
