One night stay
Easy to find hotel with a lovely cafe at the bottom. The room was small, but comfortable. They let you take a book to your room if you want, which is a nice touch. The hallway was very warm and smelled of cigarettes, but as soon as we turned on the A/C in our room, we couldn't smell it anymore.

The hotel was really clean and quiet. My room was small but comfortable. It opened up onto the park, which was nice, and the sliding door opened, so I was able to get fresh air - often not possible in hotels! The staff were friendly and always tried to help and answer any questions that I had. The location is perfect - a two minute walk from Fushimi subway station. The hotel charges a lot (1000 yen per hour) for late check out, so I checked out in the morning, but then I ran a marathon and obviously needed to shower after. But they were able to direct me to a nearby onsen at another hotel, for a reasonable cost.

Fabulous Modern Hotel for the Reader
Fantastic design... clean lines & all the modern comforts. Love the concept of books & endless reading, coupled with the inhouse Cafe at the Lobby.
