A cozy base of operations for Vieux Quebec
This was a wonderful location for a weeklong stay in Vieux Quebec. The room was clean where it really mattered (sheets/towels, bathroom floor/counter, kitchen, etc…) but could use some detail attention (the light shades looked filthy and had fingerprints on them, there was a small amount of grime on the caulking around shower basin, visible streaks on the wall next to the toilet in the bathroom, the toilet bowl itself could use a good scrubbing). The location was wonderful, within walking distance of the Old Port, and Petite Champlain. We were able to explore the areas of the city that were most interested in from a cozy base of operations. It’s convenient to have a kitchen when staying for so long, unfortunately there weren’t any real grocery stores nearby but we were able to take advantage of a couple of small markets and enjoy a couple meals of charcuterie at home.

The property was well maintained and there was no noise from other units. The open floor plan does allow noise to travel through the unit but it’s not a problem unless sleep schedules widely vary. A few extra amenities like detergent or water bottles would have been nice but having the appliances was helpful. Felt a bit like living in an ikea showroom for a day. The neighborhood was convenient for walking unfortunately the weather was not favorable for us.
