    Stunning views but taxi reliant
Views are without a doubt the absolute best!! I splurged and paid for the view and it was well worth it, sitting on the balcony drinking coffee, in my robe, just looking at beautiful San Sebastien. The room was fairly spacious and comfortable, the bathroom was large but the bathtub was slightly dated. Wasn’t an issue. Used the gym and it was just fine with a cold water cooler. Staff upon arrival was very friendly and helpful. Only downside was the location and a fair bit away to town. You definitely have to pay for transportation, mostly taxis, to get anywhere. I didn’t have the opportunity to take the tram (schedule was random and didn’t operate on certain days), but I did walk back up the hill and I didn’t find it bad at all, although I love walking. It was about 1.7km from the base and a steady incline but nothing atrocious. It would be a 10/10 if they offered some sort of shuttle. For the view alone and the spacious rooms, I would stay here again!!

    Paper-thin walls and uncomfortable beds
Stayed here for 2 nights, and I could not stand the noise. We could hear everything going on the room next to us, the stairway to the other side of us, the room upstairs, and any activity in the hallway - it was a surround sound of unwanted noise. If we could understand the language, we would've been able to hear what the people in the room next to us were saying. Housekeeping sounded like they were remodeling the entire room above us at 9am when we were trying to sleep in a little - vacuuming and dragging furniture all around the room (why???). The beds (2 twins pushed together to make 1 double bed) felt like a spring mattress from a pull out couch. Super uncomfortable, and not what I expected from a 4-star hotel. It seems like this hotel was once amazing, and now it's just way past its heyday.

    Hotel with a great view
Great location with stunning views of San Sebastián and the mountains. Better than staying in the town. Really quiet and very nice decor.

    Nice views
Great views however a little out of the way to the town and other amenities - would have hoped they would have had some transit service down the hill as the only way to do this was walk or taxi. A not disappointed to find the breakfast was 22 euros for three croissants, fruit bowl and coffee! The only way to get a coffee in the morning was to purchase a 22 euro breakfast as the bar did not open till 11 and no cafes/shops in the area! Very disappointing service - thought this would have been a basic requirement for a 4 star!

The stay in San Sebastián was awesome, the although the hotel itself advertises a pool and hot tub, to get and there and find out it’s closed was a bummer , I think they should not even offer it if it’s closed during your booking dates. I hate to give the morning service crew a sad face because of the horrible service at night. In the bar and restaurant!!! The worst service ever . This is no joke , My girlfriend went down to smoke and get our table for dinner and I came down after , the only problem was , the waitress said I was too late and could not sit . I thought it was a joke. The guy behind the bar was horrible . Because I didn’t get that dinner , and hour later we were at the bar , and I just saw the couple next to us order bar food , and within that minute I asked if I could order the same thing they got, and with in that minute, he said the food at the bar was closed . The morning service team was super awesome and also asked us if they could help us get around town and gave us great recommendations for where to go in Old Town and other cool local spots , I would give them a double happy face !!! The night food crew sucks . The girl at the desk was nice though We will not stay here again , many better places in town

    Insane views and pure class
Do not hesitate to book a room here. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. It's a bit of a hike up the hill, but a taxi is reasonable into town if you don't feel like walking. The view is priceless and the rooms are super clean and comfy. Couldn't have asked for a better stay. Oh, and the restaurant is incredible. Get the scallops!
