OK place, but feels like a budget offering
This is Zürich, so you have to expect a higher price for the value. Still... First impression was very much underwhelming. The hotel is located about a 24h grocery evidently managed by the same people: the check-in counter is squeezed between the aisles of the store (I bumped agains a shelf reaching for my papers, and there was a box where I should have been standing to fill paperwork). The family room where we were staying was spacious a clean enough but the kid's bed as a folding bed with a very soft and very noisy spring mattress (in fact my son woke up many times from the noise when he turned around at night). There was an empty socket where a light fixture should have been (see picture). The grown-up bed was squeezed against the wall on three sides, meaning one of us had to climb over the other to reach his spot, and there was no space for glasses, phone, etc. near the bed. The neighborhood is VERY lively, with many ethic takeout stores, not "traditional" Zürich. There were celebrations all night (shouting and honking) after a soccer victory. Fortunately the widows are very good and soundproof. There's a microwave, plates, fridge and kettle (no heating surface). At the end of the day, the place is OK, but far from luxurious.

Loved staying here. The location is excellent and it was so convenient to have the hotel above a 24hr convince store. I just wishing parking was easier.

Excellent value for money
Check in was fast and easy. Note it is inside the market on the ground floor and staff speak good English. Room was clean and comfortable as advertised. A little bit of road noise if the windows are open but they are double glazed and surprisingly quiet when shut. Wifi worked fine. Breakfast was minimal but fruit offered in the room along with free coffee downstairs. Room had a kitchenette but didn’t really use it. Central to pretty much anything with heaps of public transport options and easy walking distance to shops, restaurants and all of the sights. No problem recommending it and would stay again.

Great Value!
This is great inexpensive place to stay! It's not going to win any style awards and checking in at the kiosk on the ground floor gives a very "cheap" feel, but if you want a clean and comfortable place to stay in a very central location, this is really great.
