So so stay
The overall stay was ok… the room was nice but the front desk check on receptionist was a bit rude and not accommodating. Also check in is at 4:00 which is really late and checkout is at 10:00 which is early. And they charge you 50.00 if you stay past 10am. Kinda crazy to be so strict on an island. They need to hire people with better people skills, since they are the face to the public.

A very welcoming room, vaulted ceilings, view of the pool area, beds were very comfortable, lots of hot beverage options, lived the bathroom too. Comfy robes are found in the large walk in closet.

Very Nice Location but check in before 6 pm
The room and property were very nice, rustic and scenic location a bit off the beaten path but close to downtown Bainbridge. It was clean and quiet and I have no complaints EXCEPT ONE. I was not aware the the office closes at 6 pm and that they emailed me the room number and the code to get in the room. I found that out from a couple who happen to be walking place as Is stood outside the closed office at 6:15 pm. My phone was dead and I figured I could charge it at the hotel, but could not get into my room, but luckily the couple called the hotel and an operator gave me the room number and the code --- so all ended well - but make sure to check your email before you leave to get that information if you plan to arrive after 6 pm.

The room was nice, although I wouldn't really call it a suite (room 7, king suite). it is more of a large bedroom. There are two wicker sitting chairs near the fireplace, but there isn't much space between the bed and chairs. Not really a separate sitting area. Also, there is a view of the bay, but it is more accurate to call it a partial bay view. The bed was comfortable, bathroom nice with good water pressure and plenty of hot water. We were there mid week in the winter and it was very quiet. It could get noisy if there were loud people in the halls as sound does travel

Winter trip to Pleasant Beach
I should begin by saying that we were visiting the island during a snow storm and a rise in the omicron pandemic, which limited our eating out at any restaurants. We thought that the location was so pretty and romantic. We were there for a few days before the end of the year. We arrived during the evening of an approaching snow storm so everything was covered in a few inches of snow. It took almost a day and a half for our room to warm up to a comfortable level. I think the room was cold due to the large windows on 2 sides. It is a great room for sleeping in, but a little small if you are trapped inside by snow. The room really needed a door mat on the inside to keep our wet snow boots from bringing in the snow. We always remove our shoes upon entering. We loved the bookstore in town and we were able to bring in terrific meals to eat in the room. We want to return in nicer weather and would definitely reserve a room with a sitting area.
