Best choice of our trip
This is an exceptional hotel. Period. After arriving at our first hotel and realizing there was a power outage, I booked two nights here instead. Best choice of our trip. Everything is of very high quality and the staff are amazing. Worth every penny.

Worst hotel experience
Food poor quality. Worst service ever experienced in an international chain hotel.

Unfortunate Circumstances.
The hotel is amazing. No doubt about it. But the very incredible review was interrupted by staff setting up a party for 48 hours straight. This included using electric saws, nailing, air compressors, music, light shows. I’m not kidding. It was a nightmare.

First stop in Egypt and very satisfied
Pleasant stay with a lovely view of the pyramids. The food was excellent, we eat dinner and breakfast at the international retaurant and it was good quality and variety of options. It was my favorite breakfast and I've stayed at 4 other hotels since. The hotel is clean and lovely.

Let down by Marriott
I will only say one thing, my checkout date was on the 18th and I have paid for an Executive room in full upfront for the duration of my stay, on the 17th my room card stopped working by noon or at which point I could no longer enter my room! I was desperate to use the toilet and so I went to reception and explain to him that my room card was not working, he then told me that I was supposed to check out at 12 o’clock on the 17th and although I showed him the email which clearly stated that my departureI was desperate to use the toilet and so I went to reception and explain to him that my room card was not working, he then told me that I was supposed to check out at 12 o’clock on the 17th and although I showed him the email which clearly stated that my checkout date was the 18th The receptionist keep me waiting for over Half an hour to check what went wrong, rather than apologising and reactivating my room key!! He kept me waiting by the reception. Total disgrace and disappointment, very unorganised and not attentive

Good 6.0
Great access to pyramids, unexceptional and costly
We had high expectations for this hotel and it is very expensive relative to others in the area. It has history but the main historical wing is closed for renovations. The hotel caters to weddings and events so very busy on weekends. Staff is courteous but rather distant. But everyone seeking a tip. Rooms are very modern and clean otherwise. No architectural standouts like the Old Cataract ( best hotel in Egypt hands down). Access to Pyramids is excellent.

Just magical at the foot of the Pyramids.

Grounds of the hotel were beautiful and the pyramid view balcony was worth it to unwind after a long day.
