LACKS A LOT even though location is good
This place COULD BE MUCH BETTER. Based on the location, the apartment LACKED A LOT! The bath towels had threads pulled out. They should have been new, luxury towels, not what you had left over. The refrigerator had so much dust on it that you could write a message! The bed was NOT crisply made and I’m still not sure if someone had slept in it prior to our arrival - as it looked that way. The lack of attention to detail that a first-class unit demands was not there! Besides, the room price is NOT ACCURATE. They charge you an ADDITIONAL $200 for ‘cleaning and fees’ for the stay. Unless you need a kitchen, you’re better off staying at a nearby hotel for the same price (or lower). Also, they do not tell you that there is a minimum age of 25 for checkin until you have paid (could be a problem when travelling with young adults)!!! The owners CONSTANTLY email/harrass you as to when you’re coming/going. That is annoying. They seem to be overprotective of their place. And, the main floor lobby was not lit when we arrived so we had to navigate through the dark to find the elevator. Bad management?

Mis-leading photos & a customer service flop
Our stay here got off to a rocky start, and never recovered. Here's what happened ... shortly before our trip started, we had to make an emergency change to our travel plans and bring our 5 y.o. daughter along with us. So, naturally I checked the website to see if there was an extra bed. BE CAREFUL when you check out this site, because they confusingly intermix multiple different apartments in the photos. I saw a queen bed behind a sliding door, and a queen bed in the living room, so I though we were fine. Then, when we actually arrived at 6pm last Monday, it was a tiny apartment with only one bed, and absolutely nothing for my daughter to sleep on. That's when the second issue started ... I tried calling customer service and you know what? They didn't answer the phone. Instead, I got a text message from the number I was calling as I was calling it. So I wrote back and requested a live person twice. All I got was "sorry, I can't talk right now. What's your issue?" I couldn't tell if the customer service was a bot or a real person, but I needed someone to talk to and this felt so sub-par. Especially for $250/night. So then I spend 1.5 hours going to Target and back to get a $90 blow up air mattress and sleeping bag. The apartment doesn't even have a spare blanket in case anyone gets cold or needs the couch. I also texted and emailed the owner, who offered to talk but then never followed through twice. Be very cautious or have low expectations, that's what I'd say.

Great view and location!
Awesome view of the bay! Really nice apartment with reasonable amenities. Perfect location just a couple blocks from Pike Place Market. The apartment wasn't as clean/maintained as I thought it might be for the price (lots of random stuff in the closets, spilled dishwasher detergent under the sink, some dirt on the floor, light bulb burned out, etc.) but was overall decent. We had a problem with check-in (couldn't enter the building and the instructions provided rang to an intercom that was not in service). While standing outside the building in the freezing cold, we found out that you can't call but only text the staff, and we had to wait for a few back and forth messages to get in. The issues were small and I would stay again for the view and location.

Apartment was great, some issues with check in
The company that takes care of the property is called Luxe Hubs and they manage multiple sites. When I booked through hotels.com it only showed a set of pictures from one of their properties. Near my check in date they emailed and called to let me know that I would be staying at a different apartment (Cyrene Apartments). This was several blocks away from the listed address in the booking. At the time I didn't realize they had multiple apartments so I called hotels.com and verified that the new address was legit. The apartment itself was nice -- great view, comfy bed, and the place was really clean. It is near the highway, so if you need to be asleep early be aware that there is some highway noise. The initial check in was a little bumpy with issues with key codes, but I was able to speak to someone to help me out and they were very apologetic. Since this is not a traditional hotel I was expecting to receive some additional direction on the check out process including where to leave the keys, but I didn't hear from them after check in. Overall the stay at the apartment was really nice. The building, area, and apartment itself was great. I think if they can work on smoothing out the check in/out process it will better set expectations for guests who are more familiar with a traditional hotel.
