Maison Dali, Rome

The host is a Thief! I never experienced a rude unrespectful woman like The owner Hajer Dali . We are a family of four. We rented a room with private bathroom. We forgot out shoes Infront of our bedroom. She came at 11:30 at night barging in and shouting hitting our door while she was furious angry she panicked. She forced the door open many times and used her key to open on us while we were sleeping!! Immagine my two daughters were so scared.! Cleaning is not everyday that's a lie under bed is so dusty. And in corners.no floor washing. Spider web on the loft. carbage don't took away everyday.windows is untight lot of noise coming from street. Definitely not suitable for families.she throws your food from refrigerator without asking. coffee machine don't work. Oven you can't open the door of it. No place to prepare food for families with kids. ENGLISH communication zéro.she asked for tourist tax of 3 euros per person for adults. She did it has to be paid immediately when we checked in.that was 75 euros she said without giving us an invoice for the amount paid in cash.the room classification is 3. Means tourist tax is 2 euros per night for an adult. She took 3 euros. When I asked her to pay back the difference she never answered my calls and messages! The owner take extra tourist taxes from guests without giving an invoice.only nice to you first you place your booking. Don't book this listing if you want to have a nice time in Rome.

Great Service

It is a true Italian area as far as the buildings go. However there is little Italian in the way of food (except for the amazing place just out the door after 4 PM). It is mostly Asian food and Middle East food which makes sense because that is the majority of the population in this area. I do want to go back to China but not when I am on a tour of Italy.

Check in procedure is not convenient. you will get a lot of problem to stay this place if your flight is late. They demand late check in charge(20 Euro) which is not in details in Hotels.com reservation contract . I refused to pay that they said charge after 10 PM check in. I never heard of it from Hotel.com I will not stay this place next time

The stay was exactly what we needed. We were only staying for 2 days and the room we chose matched us perfectly. It was right near the metro so it was easy to get around Rome. The communication between us and the hostess was on point as well. It was shared but my husband and I didn’t mind. We all had our own area.
