Easy to get to, very nice room and staff, reasonable price. The 2 stories to the hotel are hard to climb with a heavy suitcase

This hotel is one of the worst hotels I have ever gone into. Dirty 4 flights of stairs to just get to the reception desk, then 2 more flights to get to the room, no elevator. Hotel. Com should be ashamed to offer this hotel. I refused to stay here.

Excellent location, excellent hotel, excellent service. I had a view onto the plaza, which was very nice. No A/C and requires walking up flights of stairs to reach the lobby -- for those who are comfortable with this, it's well worth the stay, and if I return to Lyon I would likely stay there again.

Superb location and personel.
Overall, great stay! Advantages: 1) Russian-speaking lady (don't know the name) at the reception was incredible. She was happy to answer all our questions and made us feel welcome. 2) Location is superb for tourism/business. 3) Good condition of the room and bathroom. 4) Check-out at 12:00. 5) View on the Theatre from the window. Challenges: 1) Few floors to climb to get to the hotel and no elevator. 2) Construction work on the building facade (Feb 2019). 3) Breakfast - very basic.

The hotel staff were really helpful and friendly. The room was clean and bright. The hotel itself is very central, close to good restaurants, the old town and the Soane. It was an ideal place to stay for our short break in Lyon. I definitely recommend it.
