Firstly, Francesca runs the hotel all on her own and does an excellent job. She goes above and beyond to accommodate for her guests and her efforts must be commended - she made our stay in Tropea even more enjoyable. I think the hotel would benefit by hiring more staff - our check in was a little rushed as there was only one person working and other guests were leaving and arriving at the same time as us. The property could also do with a little fixing as our shower was leaking. The location is perfect as you have a view of the beach and walk out into the main strip of restaurants and bars. Breakfast was not the best we had during our month-long stay in Italy but had all the staples you would expect.

Wow! Great location with a most beautiful view overlooking the sea. I was worried about not being able to check in and park on site but it was not an issue at all. They have someone on site from 7am until 9 pm. They were so nice. The facility was very comfortable. I definitely recommend staying here if you want to stay in “old town”

Just amazing
Let me tell you I never leave reviews but for this hotel/b&b I felt I had too. It was as lovely as all the reviews I had read before and more. location was perfect, you are right in the heart of town and short distance to all the restaurants and bars. Plus placed right on the cliff you have your own private few from their terrace of the beach and the santuario Santa Maria dell isola and we got to see some amazing sun sets and it was a great way to start the day at breakfast. The manager Francesca is so welcoming and friendly, she was so helpful with booking restaurants and giving advice about the town, as were all the staff, lovely people and there was never anything too much they couldn’t do for you. We became great friends with Francesca by the end of our stay, a friend for life. The whole hotel is clean and modern, the rooms are spacious with all the usual amenities but still have the character of the original building. I would stay here again in a heart beat and tropea is very special. I can’t wait to return.

Superbly appointed - clean and uncluttered. Excellent service and very personal. Well located with access to recommended restaurants. We’d return to stay except that it took 36 hours of traveling to access!
