not really a hotel
Although advertised as a hotel, this was actually a hostel that had a few small (no room for even a chair) private rooms. Given the price of the room, you would expect much more. The air conditioner would have been a nice feature if it had actually worked. On return journey we stayed at hotel across the street (that we also booked on hotels.com). Half the price and twice the room.

Nice hotel/hostel/pool bar
Perfect downtown location. Nice front desk staff. Really helpful and funny. Bar staffs take more time to talk to each other than to customers. Bit overprice for the attention they give. But amazing pool and sundeck to drink and eat their products only. Nice big double kitchen for guests. Clean every where. Would recommend anytime even if not near the beach. 30min by bus. Special Thanks to Gaby. Made me smile a lot.

Left disappointed
I was so excited to stay here because of the great reviews, but unfortunately I was pretty disappointed. We had the studio room w/kitchen and terrace. I don't know if it's because maybe the room hasn't been serviced in a while because they weren't booking that room due to a leak that happened from the hurricane or what but there was mold on the kitchen table, the bedding smelled like mildew and the worst part was the bathroom's toilet. It smelled like it was the toilet water and it was pretty bad. It smelled just like the ADO bus's toilet. We didn't complain since we were just only staying for 1 night but if we were staying for more, I would of definitely asked to switch rooms. The only good thing about this place was that the overnight staff helped us get some rest at 4:30AM until the morning staff got there and was able to put us in our room. Customer service was great! Location is literally right across the street from the ADO Bus Terminal so that helped us a lot when we arrived in Cancun at 4:30AM.

Super cool hostel with awesome common spaces. Loved just chilling out by the pool or working in one of the designer chairs in the lobby. Only negative is that the dorm AC temp is permanently set, can't be changed.

It’s not a bad a place if you’re looking for a party atmosphere. Quite frankly, not a good choice for me, I was on business and needed some quiet. Afternoon staff was very helpful, unlike the morning staff. The reason I booked it was because I needed the location. Very conveniently located, just not what I needed.

Stayed there as it was close to the ado station
Stayed in the standard double room, what I like was it was literally across the road from ado, the room was clean, bed was comfy, aircon wasn't noisy. What I didn't like was the check in procedure, they took a picture of your passport, and gave you a fluro green wrist band to wear to get access to the place, there was no soap to wash your hands with and it was a bit noisy from the traffic. Overall I would stay again.
