thanksgiving in DC.
the staff were amazing and invested in customer care. I had a cough and one of the men at the check in desk offered me a bottle of water. We spent a long time in the lobby doing work and the staff were very accomodating.

8/10 Very good

the water pressure was too high in the bathroom. To get mildly warm water, the pressure get so high that washing hands results in water splashing all over the place. Otherwise, great location, very friendly staff, very clean.

10/10 Exceptional

Our stay began by getting a warm welcome at the door. The receptionist (Mariely)was also very helpful. Our room was on a quiet floor. Our bed was very comfortable. Walking distance to most historical sites. All interactions with all staff was positive. Would recommend it it highly. NOW, when we arrived in NYC. I found I had left my iPad behind at The Darcy☹️ I immediately called & Mariely located it. She patiently explained what I needed to do to get it back. It arrived at home in San Diego a couple of days after we got home! Thanks for going above & beyond! Your efforts very much appreciated!

8/10 Very good

Our experience was pretty seamless! Loved the staff, Garrad's food was delicious and we had comfy beds!!! Great location, very central to the Metro and go eateries. So we would most definately stay again. The only issue we had was neighbors on both side were noisy after hours. Not the hotels fault but thicker walls would have been nice in this instance.

8/10 Very good

Good, but...
In room bathroom was small. My fiancé and are 6'3" and 5'10". Not enough space to turn around without hitting counter and/or shower doors. Toilet sat in between also hindering the available space. Room 212 is also directly above the entrance and the window sits between flagpoles. Noisy at time due to hotel traffic and the wind blowing the flags.

Nice place to stay in DC
Overall, it was a very good experience. The only thing I would say is that we had to stand in the line both to check in and to check out. There seem to be a need for more front desk people during busy times. Otherwise it was very good.
